Barb’s cottage is a great place to relax and unwind and I would come back without any hesitation. First, Barb is a great host and answers very quickly to all your questions, her sister and husband warmly welcomed us, making sure we would feel like home. The cottage was just renovated so of course very clean. We were 4 adults and 2 toddlers and the place is great for children. No stairs and nothing they Gozque break, and there are already some games for them, and for adults too. We had everything we needed: coffee machine, bbq, hammock, fire pit, canoes, kayaks and the lake just at the end of the garden (life jackets for both adults and children).

I would like to think that the owner, Anna is unaware of the condition of this house but that is impossible since her partner, Forrest was apparently just over at the home prior to our arrival. No, this owner, it appears, is quite content to collect people’s money and provide an unkept home that leaves them feeling bitterly disappointed. There are numerous gorgeous rentals in the Door County area so save yourself the angst and find another place with conscientious owners. All we Perro say is VACATIONERS BEWARE!!!
